The San Diego Interfaith Disaster Council (IDC) identifies and coordinates with faith-based organizations and their resources in San Diego County, determines core competencies and in cooperation with governmental and community-based organizations, facilitates and coordinates a collaborative plan to prepare for and respond to disasters.

Anyone who desires to benefit San Diego. There is no formal membership. This is a neutral, non-political, non-discriminatory collaborative of communities, agencies and individuals. People of every religious tradition as well as those who do not identify with any tradition are welcome to participate.
