San Dieguito Interfaith Ministerial Association (SDIMA) will meet for its monthly dialogue and lunch. All clergy are invited, and congregations are invited to send representatives.
The topic is Imagining Omnifaith: Living More Spiritfully – Every Day in Every Way! Co-creating a New, Holistic Spiritual Approach to Life in The 21st-Century
Rev Steve Maynard — Bio Background
Following his retirement as a Unity minister, Steve and his wife Olivia co-founded Big Love (www.thebiglove.org) — an initiative dedicated to exploring and promoting Interspirituality for the 21st Century. Big Love offers a practical approach to life that transcends but includes teachings from all of the world’s wisdom traditions.
Prior to entering ministry, Steve had a 25-year career in high-technology and environmental companies based in Silicon Valley. Having lived in four Asian countries and eight major American metropolitan areas, Steve’s interest and passion for multi-cultural, omni-faith views are based on first-hand experience of the diversity of our planet and its peoples.
He is committed to lifelong learning and holds degrees from Harvard College, Columbia Graduate School of Business, and Unity Institute. Additionally, he has earned certificates in life coaching, as an “Agent of Conscious Evolution”, and from Harvard Divinity School’s “Wisdom Through the Scriptures” and Yale’s “The Journey of the Universe” programs.
Steve’s life intention is “to help myself and others live more spiritfully — every day, in every way” — and hopes that Big Love is one means of manifesting that idea!
