Honor the Memory of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. by serving your community

In honoring Dr. King’s legacy and life serving others, each year on MLK Day of Service, the NSDC NAACP, and MCC Service Learning, bring to life his vision of neighbors working together to build a better future through volunteerism and service to our communities. This day is designed to help empower individuals, strengthen communities, bridge barriers, address social problems, and move us closer to Dr. King’s vision of a “Beloved Community.”

The sign-ups are for the actual “Day of Service” where all enrolled volunteers go out to one of our sites to complete community service projects. Socks, blankets and jackets are being collected for migrant workers and the homeless. Toiletries such as shaving kits, toothbrushes, and deodorant are being collected for college students experiencing homelessness.

Sign-up today.

Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, “What are you doing for others?” – Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
