The Center for Justice & Reconciliation at PLNU sits at the center of the region’s efforts to end human trafficking. A major part of the $810 million annual underground sex economy, sex trafficking and the exploitation of children is an ugly truth in our community. The CJR is uniquely positioned to decrease human trafficking and its impact. Through the groundbreaking Beauty for Ashes Scholarship for survivors of trafficking to the innovative human trafficking awareness and prevention curriculum kNOw MORE for middle and high school students, the CJR is a major part of the county’s holistic approach to address the root causes of trafficking.
Hope Rising is the Center for Justice & Reconciliation’s annual event to raise funds for their anti-trafficking initiatives. Please Join Us! Tickets can be purchased at: http://www.pointloma.edu/hoperising
