Please join the San Diego Sikh Community as they celebrate the 550th Anniversary of the birth of the founder of Sikhism, Guru Nanak. Guru was a revolutionary in thought and action, who advocated that, “We are all one, regardless of race, religion, birth, gender or origin.”

To commemorate this historic occasion, the first inaugural Sikh Interfaith awards, the Chardhi Kala Awards, will be held among a gathering of leaders of government, faith and many others. They will also be sharing the Sikh institution of Langar, a vegetarian meal prepared in a community kitchen by volunteers, to give thanks for our many blessings.
