The Center for Justice & Reconciliation invites you to Stories from the Border: Facing the challenges of the migrant crisis.

Sonia Nazario, author of Enrique’s Journey, will join with local advocates to discuss the migrant caravan and crisis at our border. Join the Center for Justice & Reconciliation to hear stories from the border region. Learn from Nazario’s experience researching and writing her book, and learn from PLNU Ministry With Mexico Director Liliana Reza and Pedro Rios from the American Friends Service Committee. Move from reading the news to learning firsthand from people who are engaged at the border in the complicated work of justice. Learn from people who are extending a hand of friendship and welcome to immigrants and asylum seekers as a reflection of their faith. This panel will be moderated by Rev. Melissa Tucker and will begin at 3:00pm on February 25, 2020 in the Fermanian Conference Center at PLNU. Arrive at 2:30pm for ethically traded tea and coffee and to meet the speakers! Learn more.
