Spiritual Practices for Building Resilience to Foster Mental Wellness. Everyone is knocked off center during stormy times, and sometimes feel so broken depression, anger, and fear overwhelm us. Resilience helps us stay grounded enough to stand firm, yet flexible enough to stretch and grow. This workshop will review some of the neuroscience of resilience and offer participants evidence-based contemplative practices that can support treatment and prevention of mental distress or disorder.
