Iranian Free Movie Screening Of “Virgin Mary” – Dec. 17
The Noor Collective: We represent the Shi’a Muslim community of San Diego County and our goal is to empower believers to make positive changes within themselves and the world around them and use education to create a comprehensive, dynamic, and welcoming community structures.
With that said, we are always trying to branch out and extend our hand of brotherhood/sisterhood to our Christian brothers and sisters as well as other faiths. Our Prophet Muhammad formed a covenant with Christians in which Muslims are bound to certain duties to protect and honor Christians. We also have many shared values when it comes to family, charity, modesty, and more, and we believe the followers of Jesus (Christians and Muslims) must work together to protect these sacred values and the wisdom behind them.
To help build this meaningful interfaith bond, we are hosting a special free movie screening of a movie called “Virgin Mary” produced in the Islamic Republic of Iran. It is dubbed in the English language. It is taking place Sunday, Dec. 17th at 2PM PST at the Malcolm X Library of San Diego.

First Interfaith Build Held By The San Diego Habitat For Humanity
Our vision is to have representatives from multiple faiths and bring them together to work on a single project. We will have 30 volunteer opportunities available, and in the beginning, this will be an invite only build. Our Interfaith Build Day will be on January 21st, 2018.
What I would like inform you is:
-Are you interested in this build?
-Are you available on January 21st?
-Would you like to be part of the planning process?
-What faith do you belong to?
If you are not available on the 21st, but know someone who would love to join us, please forward them this email and have them respond to me. Space is limited, so please RSVP as soon as possible. I will follow up when we have reached our maximum number and will provide further details to those who will be coming out. Our plan is to make this an annual event, and would love to have a great turnout in our first event.
If you have any questions, please reach out, and I will attempt to answer your questions as soon as possible.
